Hi! I’m Ludvig.
Originally interested in game design, I taught myself programming out of necessity to make games in Unity and Gamemaker. I enjoyed it a lot! Following my brief year of conscription in the Swedish military, I heard of The Game Assembly. I didn’t expect to be admitted considering my very limited programming experience at the time, but decided to apply anyway. To my surprise, I got in!
Since then I’ve learned a lot about programming and C++, but also what it takes to work together both with other programmers, as well as an interdisciplinary team including level designers and artists.
During my first year I tried everything I could. From programming satisfying gameplay, to UI, to loading levels. Now, in my second year, I’ve focused in on graphics and engine programming. Being part of the team that built Titan Engine from scratch using DX11 has been so much fun, and I’ve learned a lot!
I would describe myself as passionate, versatile, and a team player. I strive to always focus on what’s most important at the moment. Working iteratively to make sure everyone, both programmers and others, have what they need to keep doing their own work. I’m not afraid to step out of my comfort zone and work on something I have limited experience with, and love learning new things!
